Diez Monos Yoga Retreat
Feb 29 @ 12:00 pm – Mar 7 @ 9:00 am

Course Description:
The adventure begins with a group pick up from Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport. All participants must arrive before 1:00 p.m. onFebruary 29th, or you may be picked up from the airport hotel if you fly in the night before. From there, you will take the drive to La Carolina Lodge, nestled on the eastern slopes of Volcano Tenorio, the home of the famous Rio Celeste waterfall, in northwestern Costa Rica. You will spend three nights basking in the raw beauty of the jungle and mountains at La Carolina Lodge before heading to the beach.

We believe yoga retreats are about immersing yourself in a new place, going deep into your yoga practice and cultivating community wherever you are! That’s why we skip the fancy retreat centers that keep you detached from local culture, and jump right into exploring the authentic nature of our surroundings! This Diez Monos retreat offers the best of what incredible Costa Rica has to offer. We’ll spend time unwinding in the healing energy of the mountains, then head to the beach for energizing sunshine and open waters. We will have the grand opportunity to experience Costa Rica in it’s raw and natural forms, while learning to co-exist with our organic surroundings. Morning yoga and meditation practices next to a peaceful river or overlooking the vast Pacific ocean will allow you to attune your inner nature with outer nature. On top of this, we will have the sweet opportunity to practice Seva (selfless service) in a local Costa Rican community, working with the kids of “Abriendo Mentes”, a local non-profit that provides after school English and skills classes. This community inspired retreat includes…

t
Daily Sunrise and Sunset Yoga

t
Daily Meditation

t
Horseback Riding in the Mountains

t
Waterfall Hike to Rio Celeste

t
Ocean SUP Yoga Lesson at Playa Danta

t
Opportunity to Volunteer in the Local Community

The inspiration behind Synergy AcroCamp is to help build and unite the Acroyoga community in Latin America, and beyond. We want to play and enjoy each other’s company in this amazingly beautiful natural setting we have been offered.
There will be classes and workshops for every level and style of Acroyoga practice, techniques in dance, contact improv, slackline, hand balancing, standing acro, therapeutic techniques and Thai massage. We’ll even have a show that everyone can participate in, to top it off.

Come and play together with world-class teachers and students, together we’ll fly!
